At the end of the last week, the first and the most impressive capture of drugs of this year was discovered by Moldovan Border Police officers at the Moldova-Romania border. They annihilated an international network of narcotics smuggling coming from Spain.
Crimes registered at the border during the last 24 hours:
- 1 persons violated rules of stay within the border zone;
- 1 overstayer;
- 4 persons violating the legislation
According to latest information, 4 BCPs (Ceadir-Lunga -Maloiaroslavet 1, Ceadir-Lunga - Novie Troiani, Cairaclia - Zaliznicinoe and Cismichioi - Dolinskoe) at the Moldova-Ukraine border ceased activity.
Because of the heavy snowfall and strong wind ”Vulcanesti-Vinogradovka” BCP also temporarily ceased activity.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration informs RM citizens that Ukrainian authorities have recently changed the conditions for entry, stay and transit of territory of Ukraine. Foreign and stateless persons are required to possess 20 units of the market basketfor a month or minimum 4060 UAH for five days.
The Syrian citizen was detected in the border zone close toPalanca village.
Crimes registered at the border during the last 24 hours:
- 1 persons violated rules of stay within the border zone;
- 1 foreign citizen with an impostor identity card of the RM;
- 2 foreign citizens overstayers;
- 4 persons violating the legislation and 1 vehicle wanted.
Colleagues from border agencies of Romania and Ukraine informed Moldovan Border Police on the possibility of refusing entry for improperly equipped persons and vehicles. Up to the moment, some cases of return of vehicles have been registered.
