Thursday, April 24, starting at 10:00 in Polyvalent Hall of the Central Sports Club Dynamo shall take place the final phase of the Championship of the Border Police at Volleyball.

Four finalist teams representing subdivisions of the institution shall battle for the title of champion in the third test in the framework of the Spartakiada, edition 2014.

The event shall take place on the following address: 23A, G. Asachi St., Chisinau city. We invite the representatives of the mass media.

Following a joint action, organized for preventing and combating illegal migration, at the Moldovan-Romanian border were caught and detained three Georgians. One of them was detained by Moldovan Border Police officers in close proximity to the River Prut.

As a result of the specific activities within the area of competence, in order to monitor and control the state border, as well as to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime, the Border Police officers, during the last 24 hours, registered the following illegal acts:

Border Police officers have identified a young man from Ribnita town, who planned to arrive in Ukraine on the basis of foreign passport, which he received as a "loan" from his friend.

The Moldavian aged 29, was discovered this morning at BCP Palanca where he was present for exit from the country with a passport issued on the name of a resident of Căuşeni city.

As a result of carrying out specific activities in the area of competence, the Border Police officers, during 14 – 20 April 2014, revealed and documented 130 persons, who violated the border and migration legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as it follows:
