Moldovans travel to European Union without visas
During the period 24.00 - 12.00, 700 Moldovan citizens have crossed the Moldovan-Romanian border on the basis of biometric passports.
The most popular border crossing point from the EU border is Leuseni, there were registered 500 Moldovans, being followed by BCP Chisinau International Airport by 130 holders of biometric passports.
As a result of the specific activities within the area of competence, in order to monitor and control the state border, as well as to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime, the Border Police officers, during the last 24 hours, registered the following illegal acts:
During the Memorial Easter the Border Police officers will work at their full capacity to ensure the effective and expeditious control so as to avoid agglomerations at border crossing points.
The Eastern Regional Directorate team won the title of champion in volleyball, managing to win the last game match with the Northern Regional Directorate representative.
