As a result of the specific activities within the area of competence, in order to monitor and control the state border, as well as to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime, the Border Police officers, during the last 24 hours, registered the following illegal acts:
- 1 person attempted to cross fraudulently the state border;
- 9 persons infringed the border zone regime, as well as that of the border crossing points;
- 3 foreign citizens exceeded the legal term of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
- 1 person used false travel documents to cross the state border;
-1 person intended to cross over the state border of narcotic substances;
- 7 persons in conflict with law were detained within the border crossing point, as a result of the information exchange with national and international law enforcement authorities;
According to the data got from Regional Directorates of the Border Police, at the border crossing points, at exits and at entry the passengers flow, as well as the flow of the transport means was a balanced one.
