A delegation of Border Police, composed of specialists in risk analysis, participated in the working meeting with Belarusian counterparts. The meeting was organized by the State Border Committee of the Republic of Belarus and ran through the city Gomel (Belarus).
The Deputy Head of the Department of Border Police, Ianuş Erhan, attended the 22 th International Conference of the border authorities, held in the city of Warsaw, Republic of Poland.
364 cases, involving 400 persons who did not respect the rules of stay in border crossing points of the state border, were documented by border policemen since the beginning of 2014 until now. They violated the regime of the border crossing points of the state border, referred to in Article 332, paragraph 1, of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Moldova.
The border policemen acted in preventing and combating illegal fishing in the border area, identifying two Moldovans who were fishing with nets of type monofilament and without authorization. 400 meters from the fishing nets and 12 kg of fish, found by two men were taken to confiscation.
Today, October 21, 2014, the head of the Border Police, Dorin Purice, received a visit on the new internal security attaché of the French Embassy in Bucharest, Herve Dages.
As a result of carrying out of the specific activities in the area of competence, the Border Police officers, during 13-19 October 2014, revealed and documented 127 persons, who violated the border and migration legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as it follows:
