As a result of carrying out of the specific activities in the area of competence, the Border Police officers, during 15-21 December 2014, revealed and documented 132 persons, who violated the border and migration legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as it follows:

The Border Policemen and the Ukrainian border guardscounteracted an attempt to smuggle alcohol from the Republic of Moldova in Ukraine.

The number of Moldovans involved in illegal migration is declining. EU Member States, which are the part of the network FRAN (Frontex Risk Analysis Network) reported only 52 Moldovan citizens, who tried to cross the border illegally and were detained by border services of EU countries, both at the "green" as well as at the crossing points.

The fostering of the partnership relations, the open and pragmatic dialogue, identification and materializing of the proposals on new segments of cooperation launched in the framework of the bilateral meetings - were decisive factors in achieving the priorities proposed by the Border Police and EUBAM in 2014.

As a result of carrying out of the specific activities in the area of competence, the Border Police officers, during 27 October – 2 November 2014, revealed and documented 125 persons, who violated the border and migration legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as it follows:

The young man was arrested following the information held at the level of the Border Police, together with the Intelligence and Security Service and the Prosecutor General Office.

The Head of the Border Police, Dorin Purice congratulated his Ukrainian counterpart Viktor Nazarenko, on occasion with his appointment on 23 October, on the position of the Head of the State Border Service.
