The hunting season started and with it started the breaches in the border area
A man has been documented for staying illegally within the border area with a hunting shotgun without holding the identity documents, as well as the firearm license. The case was registered on September 10, at around 13.00, due to the exchange of information and joint actions of the Border Police Sector employees "Cahul" and the Police Inspectorate Cahul.
On 10 September, the Border Police Department was the host of the third meeting of the Local Coordination Committee of the project Strengthening the Migration Management and Readmission in Eastern Europe (MIGRECO) Moldova's component, managed by the Mission of the International Migration (IOM) in Moldova. The meeting brought together representatives of public authorities, international organizations, civil society and academic staff.

As a result of the specific activities within the area of competence, in order to monitor and control the state border, as well as to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime, the Border Police officers, during the last 24 hours, registered the following illegal acts:
During the last 24 hours for violation of rules of stay in the border area, with the purpose of fishing, the Border Police employees fined 15 fishermen and seized two boats, 1100 meters of net , an electric battery and about 400 fishes.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration informs that according to the Decision of the Government of Montenegro of 26 June 2014, it was abolished the visa regime for Moldovan citizens.
