In the view of implementing provisions of the Strategy on Integrated Border Management and of the border control system, and strengthening cooperation with relevant national agencies, the Border Police Department provides mutual exchange of information and data in order to: prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime; manage information systems for data record; maintain public order and security at the border and ensure border inviolability. The exchange of information is carried out based on interagency cooperation agreements.
