Special Investigations Directorate is responsible for implementing, coordinating and carrying out control over the special activity of investigations aiming to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime. Human Resources General Directorate aims to accomplish institution’s strategic objectives by establishing and promoting personnel policy, and implementing an effective management of human resources. Border Control General Directorate is responsible for setting up activities in the sphere of border control, regime and public order, and dog-handling. The Directorate develops draft directive documents, orders, dispositions, instructions; plans complex or specific actions in relevant areas of activity; verifies and coordinates the activity of the Border Police Department subordinated subdivisions in the relevant fields.
