Special Investigations Directorate is responsible for implementing, coordinating and carrying out control over the special activity of investigations aiming to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime. Border Control General Directorate is responsible for setting up activities in the sphere of border control, regime and public order, and dog-handling. The Directorate develops draft directive documents, orders, dispositions, instructions; plans complex or specific actions in relevant areas of activity; verifies and coordinates the activity of the Border Police Department subordinated subdivisions in the relevant fields.
