The students of the specialty "Border Guards" of the Military Academy of the Armed Forces "Alexandru cel Bun" participate at an additional training course in specialized fields to put into practice the theoretical knowledge acquired.

As a result of the specific activities within the area of competence, in order to monitor and control the state border, as well as to prevent and combat illegal migration and cross-border crime, the Border Police officers, during the last 24 hours, registered the following illegal acts:

The dental tools and syringes were discovered by Border Police officers in the train Chisinau - Bucharest. The medical devices were found at a Ukrainian national, being hidden under clothes. The case was registered last week at the BCP Ungheni.

A new channel for illegal transportation of alcohol across the Moldovan- Ukrainian border was revealed by the Border Police officers in cooperation with Ukrainian border guards.

Thus, on 9 March, the employees of the Control Unit of the Northern Regional Directorate found on the river Dniester bank, in the direction of the localities Rudi – Subotovca, a plastic pipe with specific smell of alcohol.

The Border Police officers in cooperation with customs officials prevented a case of illegal passing of utside the Republic of Moldova of a pneumatic gun. The case was registered at the Moldovan-Romanian border on weekend.

As a result of carrying out specific activities in the area of competence, the Border Police officers, during 3 – 9 March 2014, revealed and documented 127 persons, who violated the border and migration legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as it follows:
