The role of women in the Border Police and opportunities offered in this respect, but also other issues related to bilateral relationships development were discussed by the head of the Border Police, Dorin Purice with the Commissioner of the National Commissioners Office of the Swedish Police - Ann -Marie ORLER.
Police Delegation of the Kingdom of Sweden is in official visit to the Republic of Moldova during the period May 12 - 13. Today, the Commissioner of the National Commissioners Office of the Swedish Police - Ann -Marie ORLER visited the Border Police Department where she had a meeting with the head of the institution, Dorin Purice.
In the meeting, the guest was informed about the steps undertaken by the Border Police in the process of institutional reform, together with the fulfillment of the commitments from the European integration Agenda of the Republic of Moldova. Similarly, Mrs. ORLER got familiarized with various aspects of the organizational structure and activity method of the border authority.
A special topic of the bilateral agenda was the role of women within the institution, in this regard, the parties exchanged information and experiences on human rights and opportunities of equal chances, being mentioned the amendments to the legal framework regarding the benefits provided to women on maternity leave.
The interlocutors were interested in actions that are found in institutional activity development, expressing the confidence in the development of the cooperation relationships in respect of the certain areas.
