Border Police participated at the Day of Europe in the Republic of Moldova

1During two days in the capital were held various events to celebrate the Europe’s Day. This year, the festival hosted several highlights of inspiration for the institutions of the Republic of Moldova benefiting from EU-funded projects. The boutiques and booths with informational materials about cooperation between Moldova and the European Union carried the message of hope for a better future.

Despite the fact that the time was a rainy one, the Border Police representatives were present at the event. The Border Policemen have distributed informational support about the activities of the border institution and the cooperation relationships with European partners, as well as answered the questions of the visitors, especially those interested in free travel into the EU. In this respect, to the most curious of the participants have been told EU entry conditions, as well as were specified the documents, the consequences of non-compliance with EU rules and other useful information that would ensure to the Moldovans with biometric passports, a journey without any difficulties in the European space without any visa.

Also, the visitors could admire a mini - exhibition of devices and special equipment for border surveillance. The Border Police officers took into account that among the guests will be children, so an attractive point was the booth with service dogs, which gave a dash of fun to the holiday.

The Border Police Fanfare pleased, with beautiful and exciting presence on the first day of the celebration, hundred of people gathered in the Great National Square to listen to the most famous orchestras in the country. The Virtuoso of the trumpets, trombones and drums impressed the audience with interesting repertoire of works of the national and international composers.
