Today, 17 May, the National College of the Border Police and Border Police Sector "Ungheni " was host to a group of children of primary school "Spiridon Vangheli" from Ungheni city.
The pupils arrived at the College since the early morning, where they were waited by the Border Police inspectors who prepared a special program with interesting and engaging activities.
At the beginning, the little guests found out what the Border Police officers deal with, which are their attributions and how does the working process take place at a border subdivision. Children shown a special interest to surveillance and border control technique, each was photographed with equipment exposed and, in turn, climbed the special intervention vehicles. The moment of the maximum attraction was the demonstration made by Dolly, a service dog of Ungheni Border Police Sector.
The children had the opportunity to go to the Eiffel Bridge in Ungheni that joins the two sides of the river Prut. Those few hours in the company of Border Police officers have passed too quickly and therefore the little ones promised to return on any other occasion.
