As a result of carrying out of the specific activities in the area of competence, the Border Police officers, during 13-19 October 2014, revealed and documented 127 persons, who violated the border and migration legislation of the Republic of Moldova, as it follows:
- 10 persons for illegal crossing or attempt to cross the border illegally;
- 41 persons for violation of border area regime, as well as that of the BCPs;
- 5 persons for presenting of false documents;
- 8 cases of illegal border crossing of the state border of material goods;
- 48 foreign citizens for violation of rules of stay on the territory of the Republic of Moldova;
- 23 persons in conflict with law and 6 transport units under confinement were detained at the border crossing points.
During the reference period the border policemen did not authorized the crossing of the state border to 128 persons, among which 94 at the exit of the country, they presented for border control invalid travel documents, with expired term or lacked the necessary documents.
The flow of people crossing the state border was about 292 000 persons and the transport traffic flow recorded approximately 67 000 of transport means units.
