More and more undeclared cartridges, discovered within border control

1Employees of the Border Police counteracted 17 cases of holding the ammunition in people's luggage, who intended to cross the state border and seized 130 undeclared cartridges since the beginning of the year so far.
The last 2 cartridges were discovered by the border policemen, hidden in luggage hold of a Moldovan citizen. The concerned person- Gennady, aged 38 years - was presented this morning at the airport in order to arrange specific exit formalities, intending to travel to the Russian Federation.

At the screening, in the man's luggage were visualized by border policemen suspicious objects, for which additional checks were started. Thus, the border control inspectors have found in luggage 2 hunting cartridges, of caliber 16 mm and 12 mm. The ammunition was raised for expertise, for the subsequent establishment of the technical status and its functioning.
Based on the facts detected, the border policemen decided to interrupt the trip of the Moldavian national, expecting him to be brought under the responsibility in conformity with the national legislation.
