The mobile teams officers of the Border Police, on weekend, detained in traffic four drivers involved in illicit activities, including three driving the transport means illegally reassembled and another - transported material goods without the provenance documentation. Two Mercedes and one Iveco Magirus, whose drivers made some technical changes without to indicate the necessary documents, were detained at the entrance to the cities Ungheni and Leova, as well as at the itinerary Nisporeni-Ungheni. As a result of the checks of the transport means, the border policemen discovered an additional tank, license plates belonging to another vehicle and changes in body number, which did not coincide with that of the registration certificate.
The detention materials on these cases were sent in conformity with competences to police authorities, which continue the research to undertake legal measures.
So, at the end of the last weekend, the border policemen of the mobile team Northern Regional Directorate detained a consignment that was transported from Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova without accompanying documents. The agricultural goods were found in a Ford Transit minibus, with registration number of Edinet, driven by a Moldovan aged 39. The vehicle was stopped on route Lipcani-Briceni and its physical verification were found about 300 kg of agricultural goods. For the entire quantity of goods the driver was unable to present any documents of origin, for which the goods were lifted and stored at the territory of the Border Police Sector Criva to elucidate all the circumstances.
