The plan of the three young men from Cahul district to get into one of the EU countries was destroyed by Border Police employees. 

The persons who had with them a few bags were discovered near the river Prut by the employees of the Border Police Sector Cahul. The young men could not justify the presence in the border area and had no identity documents with them, reason for which they were taken to the headquarters of the Sector to establish their identity.
The Border Policemen found out that they had arrived in Cahul early in the morning and searched the territory to swim over the river Prut, and then to continue their way to Italy illegally. In their bags they had clothes and food, and about 300 euros.
Another Moldovan without identity acts was found this morning by the officers of the Border Police Sector Ungheni, just 10 meters from the River Prut. From the statements of the young man of 23 years old, he intended to reach one of the EU states illegally.
Both cases are being investigated by the Special Investigation officers of the Border Police.
