245 hemp plants and different tools to process the plants were discovered by border policemen and police inspectors at a Moldovan household in the south of the country. During the day of July 16, in order to make use of information, the investigation officers of the Southern Regional Directorate of Border Police and those from Police Inspectorate Cantemir conducted searches at the residence of a man aged 46, resident of village Gotesti, Cantemir district. Thus, in the garden, among the rows of vines were detected 30 hemp plants at the stage of growth, the plants were specially cultivated and well grown. Under the roof of an auxiliary building were discovered 96 leafy stems arranged for drying the plant, and behind the garage, were discovered other semi-dry 119 plants. Similarly, in the house, hidden in several caches, was found the hemp fine as well as were found plant processing tools: three thimbles and a sheet of foil.
The entire quantity of hemp was raised and sent to the expert, the prosecution authority continues documenting all aspects of the case.
We shall remind that during 30 May - 31 August current year, is conducted the special operation "MAC 2014", which provides a range of measures to combat illicit trafficking of drug of vegetable origin, the detection and destruction of plants containing narcotic substance and the identification of persons who grow them in the border area illegally.
