A Border Police delegation led by Dorin Purice, is in a working visit during June 17-19 to the State Border Guard Service of the Republic of Lithuania.

The agenda of the meeting included issues related to the organizational structure of both institutions and achievements during the year. The parties discussed the condition of the implementation of the concept of integrated border management and perspectives of cooperation between border authorities of the Republic of Moldova and the Republic of Lithuania.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged information on statistical data of the subdivisions with relevant competences in transborder security, noting the conformity of these data with balance reports of the risk analysis system.
At the end of the meeting, the two heads of the border authorities have signed the protocols of the working meeting, thus agreeing to maintain the same level of cooperation.

Note: The visit takes place in the context of the Protocol of cooperation between the Border Guard Service of the Republic of Moldova and the State Border Guard Service under the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania, signed in Vilnius on 19 October 2007.
