During the Memorial Easter the Border Police officers will work at their full capacity to ensure the effective and expeditious control so as to avoid agglomerations at border crossing points.
In this respect, in the regime 24 / 24 shall be monitored the persons and vehicles flow and in cases of significant increases in the number of passengers , the specialized officers from border institutions shall be assigned to those border crossing points to face the situation. There shall be used the special portable equipment for reading travel documents and shall be increased the number of trained mobile teams at the state border surveillance.
During this period will be open local checkpoints located on the Moldovan- Ukrainian border to facilitate the border crossing by the citizens of Moldova and Ukraine who live permanently in border administrative districts on the basis of internal passports (identity cards) or on the basis of passports for travelling abroad and the border crossing with transport means whose carrying capacity does not exceed 3.5 tonnes.
In order to effectively manage the operational situation, namely the prevention and fight against illegal cross-border actions are enhanced cooperation relationships with border institutions of the neighboring states, national institutions with border attributions, as well as the local government bodies.
