Criminal group specialized in international drug trafficking, deconstructed

t11400 of tablets of Subutex a psychotropic substance, 48 pills of Tramadol and Reladorm, large amounts of money detected at six Moldovans, is the final result of documentation of a criminal group specialized in transporting smuggled drugs from France into Republic of Moldova. In the process of documenting the criminal group were targeted in total, eight persons, originating from the city of Orhei.
The first two are the active members of the group, of 31 and 34 years old, both residing in Chisinau, were detained at the end of September month. As a result of bodily searches, as well as the search at the suspects' home, the policemen raised 23 pills of Subutex, 20 pills of Tramadol and 9 pills of Reladorm.

Subsequently, due information processed by the Border Police employees for months on 14 of October, the officers of the BPD in common with the officers of the Division No. 4 of the National Investigations Inspectorate and under the coordination of the representatives of the Municipal Prosecutor's office held shares for spinning persons involved in the transportation of drugs at entry into the country via the city Orhei, where there were apprehended in flagrante delicto.

Criminal group members organized the transportation of a large party of drugs from France into the Republic of Moldova, with their introduction into the country via the border crossing point Leuşeni.
In Orhei city the micro bus, where was identified the group organizer, he was met by other persons, who after they loaded several packages in the car, were apprehended.

After the group members bodily and car search were found 982 pills hidden in a subwoofer bass, about 1 gram of hashish and 28 pills of Tramadol, and about 6 thousand MDL.
In total were detained six persons, being removed from the illegal circuit around 1400 Subutex pills, 48 Tramadol and Reladorm pills, the financial means amounting to more than 20 thousand MDL, which were acquired due to selling of drugs. On the black market, the last could obtain illegal income estimated at 814,000 MDL.

Based on the detected were conducted searches at the homes of group members, were raised Subutex pills, marijuana, financial resources in the amount of 14,900 MDL, SIM cards, mobile phones via which the respective persons carried out the illicit transactions of drugs and a weapon of type TOZ, without any documents and kept contrary to the requirements.
On that point, the border policemen have opened a criminal case under Article 271/1, paragraph 4 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Moldova, which according to the legislation those who are guilty of illegal circulation of drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues for the purpose of transfer, shall be punished with imprisonment for 7-15 years.
