On Thursday, September 25, at 15.00, the Border Police organizes the ceremony of inauguration of the Centre of maintenance and repair of transport means. The event will be attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Iurie Leanca, ES US Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, William H. Moser, the Minister of Interior Dorin Recean and the Head of the Border Police, Dorin Purice and the persons invited from the international institutions.

Also tomorrow, another 4 centres of maintenance and repair of the transport means and 8 car boxes shall be given to exploitation in the Regional directorates of the Border Police. The maintenance centres for the transport means and the car boxes will be built in accordance with the Implementation Agreement between the Department of the Border Police of the MIA of the Republic of Moldova and the Department of Defence of the United States of America on cooperation in assistance for the security of borders and the prevention of weapons of mass destruction, signed on December 21, 2012, in Chisinau. The investment value was about 1mln. 451 thousand dollars.
